The DY Patil University Centre of Excellence has opened in Navi Mumbai. The ten-story building has been designed to support the teaching methods and ethos of the university, providing high-quality learning and living spaces for 3,000 students.

Working with Dr Patil, his construction team and local craftspeople in Navi Mumbai was a unique and inspirational experience. A truly collaborative design and construction process has produced a building that embodies the ethos of the university,” says Chris Bubb, Senior Partner, at Foster + Partners.

“Tournaments of this nature allow everyone to watch world-class athletes perform in your backyard and the young generation certainly gets inspired by seeing these young athletes perform and excel in the sport, and I think it’s extremely important because it leaves behind a strong legacy,” Dr Patil told www.the-aiff.com.
